¹PAHs (polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons) are increasingly being criticised for their carcinogenic potential. To protect against the dangers of contact with products containing PAHs, in particular consumer products containing rubber and plastic, the permissible limit values were gradually tightened by EU regulations.
